| ○講義概要 |
This course will advance the four language skills from the level attained in the first year. In the reading and writing aspects, there will be greater emphasis on academic writing skills and critical thinking. Discussions and oral presentations will be used for speaking and listening practice. Textbooks (1 or 2) will be used for the general structure of the course, but will be supplemented with news articles, some song lyrics, and other writings. At least one novel will be read and discussed during the course. Active participation and a positive attitude are essential for success in this class (during class time, as well as with homework).
