○講義概要
This class is to help students improve university level writing skills in English. Class activity will center on how to prepare, write and present essays. These activities will begin with paragraph development and end with research paper skills. In the course of the year, students will write four or five smaller essays and two research papers. As a basis for some papers, students will also be given reading assignments.
○評価方法
出席状況(15%)、授業参画(15%)、レポート(25%)、小テスト等(10%)
The term "report" above is hereby defined as a "research paper." In addition to this, students will present several essays, as well as other written work. This work will constitute 25% of the class grade. There will also be "Free Writing" homework which will constitute 10% of the class grade.
