COURSE FOR REPEATING STUDENTS
○講義概要
THE COURSE FOCUS WILL BE ON SPEAKING YOUR OPINION(S), & EXPLAINING A LOT. THE INSTRUCTOR WILL "MODEL" OR DEMONSTRATE CULTURALLY-APPROPRIATE RESPONSES. STUDENTS WILL THEN BE ASKED TO PRACTICE SUITABLE ANSWERS, IN PAIRS. SONG-LISTENING & AUDIO-LISTENING EXERCISES WILL ASSIT YOU TO IMPROVE YOUR LISTENING COMPREHENSION & SPEAK, AS WELL AS VOCABULARY. VIDEOS MAY BE USED IN SOME SITUATIONS, IN ORDER TO NOTE CULTURAL EVENTS SUCH AS HALLOWE'EN AND/OR CHRISTMAS.
○評価方法
出席状況(15%)、授業参画(25%)、前期学期末試験(授業期間中)(50%)、後期学期末試験(授業期間中)(50%)、小テスト等(20%)

YOU MUST PARTICIPATE 300%. STUDENTS WHO SIMPLY COME TO CLASS, BUT DO NOT LISTEN, TRY, PRACTICE, & PARTICIPATE, WILL NOT SUCCEED. IN 2006, "ACTIVE LEARNING" IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
IN ADDITION, STUDENTS WHO WISH TO SUCCEED IN REALLY LEARNING ENGLISH MUST BE OPEN-MINDED ABOUT UNDERSTANDING AND LEARNING ABOUT INTERNATIONAL WAYS/CULTURES. REASON: HUMAN RELATIONS & PSYCHOLOGY REPRESENT ABOUT 50% OF SUCCESS IN COMMUNICATING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES.
