国際関係論の基礎的な研究を行う。学説史を踏まえながら、現代国際関係論の基本的な概念と主要な理論を概観する。国際関係の理論を特に安全保障の問題領域から検討する。政治学の主な理論的なアプローチを議論しながら、国際関係論の学際的な次元を紹介する。講義は主に英語で行われる。学生のレポート等を日本語で提出してもいい。 Introduction to International Relations Theory. Each week, while studying the basic history of the field of International Relations, we will read the textbook and other readings relevant to the theme of the course. Students will also be expected to formulate their own research proposal for the seminar and complete their research by the end of either the first or second semester, depending on whether they register for one or two semesters.
