1922年を再考する

○講義概要

Michael North, _Reading 1922: A Return to the Scene of the Modern_ (Oxford UP, 1999)の顰みにならって、1922年という「文学的モダニズム」にとって象徴的といわれる年を多角的に再考してみたい。前期は、Northの論点をおさえた後、Virginia Woolf, _Jacob's Room_ (1922)を精読していく。後期は、1922年に出版された文学作品でこれまでにあまり取り上げられていないものを読む予定。

○評価方法

授業参画(30%)、レポート(70%)
