| ○講義概要 |
This is a course on development issues comparing experiences in Africa, Asia and Latin America. The issues examined will include: economic policies, relations between public and private sector, governance, role of small and medium enterprises, information technology, environment and sustainable development, and cultural impact of development. We will see how these issues are analyzed and addressed in their operational activities by the World Bank and the largest regional development bank, the Inter-American Development Bank. The course will examine financial and technical instruments these institutions use in assisting developing countries.
