| ○講義概要 |
The course will examine the process of translation through critical analysis and comparison of translated articles with the original. Attention is given to theoretical grounds for translating a given article whether that may be linguistic or cultural. There will be translation exercises using articles taken from newspapers, magazines, and books.
Prerequisite: JPN 351.
