○講義概要
The course introduces geographical ideas about the spatial patterns of economic activities and the processes that generate them. Topics are confined to economic activities and related issues, and range from the world distribution of population to urban land use. Several critical economic problems including the world population crisis and the depletion of oil reserves will also be discussed. Throughout the course, examples from economic activities in the world and Japan will be presented.
