"In this class we will examine social stratification in the United States from a historical perspective.We will beg in by looking at social stratification as a whole,and then broken down by different groups-Caucasian,Afro-American,Hispanic,Male and Female. We will then look at the history of each group in an attempt to see how they got where they are.THIS CLASS IS L IMITED TO FIFTY PEOPLE.ONLY PEOPLE ATTENDING THE FIRST CLASS WILL BE PERMITTED TO REGISTER."
