○講義概要
This course has two aims: to foster your understanding of economic issues in English and to gain fluency discussing in groups using the new vocabulary and concepts. You will be encouraged to develop your Internet skills for research purposes.
Each week there will be two homework assignments: a standard vocabulary assignment and a preparation task. The following week, during class, students will work in groups to discuss and explore the prepared topic.

出席状況(8%)、授業参画(24%)、レポート(24%)、前期学期末試験(授業期間中)(20%)、小テスト等(24%)
Each week a vocabulary test and open-book test on the previous class will held. Students who maintain an average of 90 (ignoring their three lowest scores) will be exempt from the final exam and receive a grade of “A". During the final exam, students may consult only dictionaries.
