○講義概要
This is an intermediate English course. Special emphasis is on reading and question-and-answer sessions. This course is designed to help students develop reading skills, such as handling unknown vocabulary, making inferences, understanding key concepts, and understanding methods of organization. We cover texts written in different styles, such as newspaper articles, legal documents, business letters, and movie reviews. Most class activities are conducted in English, and students are required to answer questions about texts in English.
