| ○講義概要 |
This course is designed to give students the opportunity to improve their English grammar and increase vocabulary through participation in pair-work, small group discussions, research projects and oral presentations. A special focus of the class will be on increasing vocabulary through discussion and writing assignments. In class tasks will consist of watching a video movie, analyzing the transcript of the movie, and discussing the characters and plot. Students will also have opportunities to act out the scenes from the from the movie. Students are required to participate actively and to communicate in English.

Course grades are based on class participation, homework assignments, writing assignments, vocabulary tests, essay tests and class attendance.

| 1 | As this is not a lecture course, there is no set schedule of lecture topics. The classes will for the most part follow the sections of the video movie. We will also be discussing and deciding upon the schedule as the course progresses. |
