| ○講義概要 |
Intermediate English Composition is geared towards essay writing and designed to guide you through the process of developing a well-structured argument. You will learn how to write about the ideas of others, represent those ideas accurately, analyze those ideas, and incorporate them into your own arguments. You will work toward refining your own essay-writing skills through the development of concise and persuasive arguments, while also taking the time to summarize and critique classmates’ essays. Response to the work of others will be welcomed in a classroom environment that encourages students to speak freely, although respectfully, without the fear of personal attack or harassment.
