◆英語中級Ⅱ(話し言葉のコミュニケーション)/D - (通)
鈴木利彦
○講義概要
The main goal of this course is to enhance students' overall communicative competence in listening and speaking. It also focuses on 'speech-act' comprehension and performance - e.g. 'requesting', 'offering', and 'thanking'. It is important to learn formulaic (and natural) expressions in performing such 'speech-acts' to become fluent in English. Throughout the course, active participation will be required - otherwise you cannot make a good speaker or listener! This course will also include 'grammar & vocabulary', 'reading & writing' and other useful expressions for listening & speaking to improve students' comprehensive English competence for communication (in addition to the 'Focus' in the schedule below). 'Natural English - Intermediate'(OUP) will be used as a course textbook. This course will also include learning of English in films, dramas and current news topics.
