◆DEVELOPMENT THEORY AND POLICY - (前)

○講義概要
This course will introduce students to the field of development economics, which applies macro and micro theories and analytical tools of economics to the policy issues of developing countries. The problems in development are widely ranging, many of which are controversial and often requiring interdisciplinary perspectives such as political economy. The course will cover newly emerging topics as well as classic ones and is structured in a general sequence of: concepts and measurement, theories and approaches, domestic problems and policies, and international problems and policies. Country cases of successful/ unsuccessful development experience will be discussed.
