◆QUANTITATIVE APPROACHES TO MANAGEMENT - (前)
OZAKI VALERIE
○講義概要
This course provides the manager with the mathematical tools to handle such problems as inventory control, scheduling, distribution, queues, traffic flow, cost, and profit optimization. Computer programs will be used to look at linear programming and its economic interpretation. Prerequisite: Basic Computer knowledge and MTH 111 or equivalent.

Although this course covers mathematical methods for use in business, the emphasis will be on the reasoning behind the methods rather than the mathematics. Students will use computers (Excel and text-book CD-ROM) to help solve problems.
