○講義概要 |
This course focuses on thesis writing for students writing a thesis in English. It examines similarities and differences between theses, as well as the general and particular expectations of students writing a thesis in particular discipline areas. Special attention will be given to the overall shape of a thesis, and the organisation of individual chapters. Others topics will include writing a literature review, critiquing previous studies, reporting findings, and discussing results. Students will have the opportunity to apply the contents of the course to their own thesis projects.
