英語受入れ研究科と日本語受入れ研究科 / English Based Graduate Programs and Japanese Based Graduate Programs

上智大学で英語による授業を行う研究科専攻は、グローバル社会専攻、理工学専攻グリーンサイエンス・エンジニアリング、地球環境学専攻、言語学専攻英語教授法コースのみです。これ以外の研究科専攻の入学試験と授業は全て日本語で行われますので、入学を希望する学生には高い日本語能力が求められます。MEXTでは6ヶ月間の日本語研修コースを受講することができますが、このコースだけで日本語初級者が日本語で入学試験を受験するレベルに達することはできません。以上をよく考慮して、今後の修学計画を立ててください。

Please note that Sophia University offers English based courses only at the Graduate Programs in Global Studies, Science and Technology (Green Science and Engineering), Global Environmental Studies and Linguistics: TESOL (Teaching English to speakers of Other Languages). Applicants who wish to be enrolled in the Graduate Programs other than these programs are required to have high level Japanese language proficiency, since the entrance examination and all the courses are conducted in Japanese. Although MEXT can provide a 6-month Japanese language training program (full-time Japanese Language Course) during the first 6-month period after your arrival, this may not be enough to prepare for the entrance examination if you are a beginner in Japanese. Please be noted of this information when you consider your future research plans.
