Starting a new student life in a different country might be very interesting but sometimes, it also bring difficulty and worries for students and their family members.

Sophia Dormitories

The below three dormitories are owned and directly managed by Sophia University. There are managers and staffs helping students with new life. Student can choose the dorm option that provides many chances and facilities for students to have international exchanges or the one that provides private space in single room. These dormitories are not providing daily meal service.

-Arrupe International Residence
-Edagawa Men's Dormitory

Designated/Recommended dormitories

Sophia Higashi Nakano Dormitory and Sophia Kasai International House are two designated dormitories managed by Kyoritsu Maintenance Com., Ltd.
There is also Lestonnac Izumikan, a recommended dormitory managed by the members of Sisters of the Company of Mary, Our Lady, a Catholic organization.
These 3 dormitories are for female only. There are housemaster and housemother (or housemother only) staying inside the dorm. There is also Resident Assistance or House Assistance to support student life as well. Among these dormitories, there is place that have meal option.


Other Housing Options/Guarantor System

Sophia Campus Support (SCS) Co.,Ltd., a company owned by Sophia School Corporation, also introduce information about rental apartments managed by cooperated real estate companies.
Information regarding housing guarantor system is also provided for international students.
