Students of Harvard Kennedy School Visiting SIIR

The lecture was given on the topic on Japan-US relation by Former Japanese Ambassador to the U.S, Professor Ichiro Fujisaki.

On March 15, Harvard Kennedy School students visited Sophia Institution of International Relation. The lecture was given on the topic of Japan-U.S relation in roundtable setting by former Japanese Ambassador to the U.S, Professor Ichiro Fujisaki.

Professor Fujisaki introduced updates on diplomatic situation between Japan and China, North Korea, South Korea and Russia as well as his own views regarding Japan-U.S relation. Students of Kennedy School, the future leaders of diplomatic society were keenly interested in his insights and many had questions at the discussion as followed.

It was a first visit to Japan for many members, however they already met Prime Minister Abe and Tokyo Governor Koike prior to visiting Sophia. After the lecture at SIIR they departed to the next destinations in two groups to Fukushima and Hiroshima onto Kyoto, a final destination for all. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the visit!
