Campus Guide
Sophia University offers a range of facilities designed to enhance students’ learning experiences and foster mutual inspiration. We strive to make campus life accessible and fulfilling for all students.
Yotsuya Campus
The Yotsuya Campus, our main campus, is located in the heart of Tokyo. It is centrally located, yet uniquely houses all faculties, including those of Science and Engineering, boasting a diverse and exceptional environment where students and faculty from around the world come together. It is conveniently located directly in front of Yotsuya Station yet offers a quiet, nature-rich environment that is essential for optimal learning.
Mejiro Seibo Campus
The Mejiro Seibo Campus offers specialized education through the Department of Nursing and the Midwifery Course. First-year undergraduate students are based at the Yotsuya Campus, while second- and third-year students primarily focus on courses that provide hands-on training at the Mejiro Seibo Campus. In the fourth year, depending on their area of concentration, students complete coursework at both campuses.
Shakujii Campus
The Faculty of Theology and the Graduate School of Theology formerly offered classes at the Shakujii Campus. Currently, both the undergraduate and graduate programs are based at the Yotsuya Campus. The campus is currently closed and inaccessible to Sophia students or the general public.
Hadano Campus
The Junior College campus is nestled in the lush greenery of Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The campus is home to a variety of facilities, including classroom and research buildings, Service-Learning Center for volunteer activities, a library, and a seminar house.
The Junior College will cease student enrollment as of the 2025 academic year.
Osaka Satellite Campus
The Osaka Satellite Campus is located on the second floor of Sakura Familia (Osaka Umeda Church) in the central Umeda area of Osaka. It serves as an information hub for prospective and current students, parents, and alumni in the Kansai region and surrounding areas, providing various services.
