Sophia Short-term Programs

Sophia University offers Sophia Short-term Programs in summer and January.

Since its inception in 1961, more than 11,000 students have participated in the Summer Session, many of whom have found jobs related to Japan. It is a valuable opportunity for Japanese students and international students from around the world to learn, discuss, and think together about Japan’s role as a member of the East Asian region.

January Session, which began in January 2013, has been well received by participants, offering courses on various issues in the Japanese language, culture, and contemporary society.
