講義概要 ／Course description	The aim of this course is to provide an introduction to critical thinking skills as well as to basic problems and issues underlying the various academic disciplines.

評価基準・割合 ／Evaluation	リアクションペーパー／Reaction paper　（10.0％） レポート／Report　（90.0％） その他／Others(in detail)　：1. Attendance, participation, and completion of all assignments are required. 2. The midterm paper will be 40% of the grade and the final paper 50%. Each will be about 12 twelve pages in length. 3. There will also be numerous short papers of 2 to 4 pages in length which will account for 10% of the grade.
