講義概要
／Course description |
This course will examine international migration in a globalizing world. Why do people migrate abroad? What are the consequences of migration for industrialized and developing countries? What is the gender dimension of migration? Starting with basic theories and analytical approaches, this course will explore many issues, including the roles of governments, international organizations, and NGOs in population movements and the integration of immigrants and ethnic minorities. It will also highlight some of the key policy challenges facing the global community. |
