講義概要
/Course description
   An advanced study of the Japanese linguistics.  The course will focus on the discussions on the historical changes of Japanese Phonology, Word Formation, and Grammatical structures.  The main goal of the course is to provide the explanation of the historical changes in terms of contemporary linguistic theory.  Basic knowledge of linguistics (Ling 210 Introduction to Linguistics and Ling 301 Introduction to Japanese Linguistics) is desirable.
