講義概要 ／Course description	A survey of salient aspects of the Japanese language.  The course wll discuss the fundamental nature of the sound structure, the word structure, grammatical structure, and dialectal variations of the Japanese language.  Theoretical concepts will be introduced to explain typological characteristics of the language.
