講義概要
/Course description
What are the key issues for HRM in Japan ? Where is Japanese HRM going: continuity, convergence with the ‘Western model’, divergent convergence or else ? What are the scenario that can be built with a short, medium and long-term perspective ? How could they impact on local and foreign organization’s management ?
What are the factors influencing the evolution at each level of the system and in what way are they at work ?
At the highest level of the architecture of the HRM system, i.e., that of beliefs and assumptions, are changes taking place or could take place that would influence the common values and norms supporting the system ?
At the policy level, i.e., that of strategic qualities and managerial roles are there changes observed or envision in the strategic role(s) of HRM and line managers in regard of human capital optimization ?
At the practice level, are changes observed in the key levers of personnel recruitment and selection, promotion and payment systems, harmonization of work conditions, contractual relationships, training and career development, right to recruit and lay-off ?

How does it compare with the evolution in the key Western and Asian countries in adoption of best practices ?
