IMPORTANT:  Please make sure to come to the first class, since there is only room for 40 students in this class. Usually there is enough room in class, but if there are too many students wishing to register, priority will be given in order of seniority (most senior students first).

The statistical methods most widely used in economics and business are described together with their applications. Topics include hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, regression models, correlation, and econometric model-fitting.

Prerequisites:
Basic Computer Knowledge
MTH111 (Mathematics and Statistics for Business and Economics) or equivalent
