Information Systems are a vital part of any organization today. With the expansion of Internet, Information Systems have extended their reach internationally to become huge inter-organizational systems that have become vital for the functioning of today’s modern society.

This is an introductory course to the various aspects of Information Systems.

This course mainly covers below areas of Management Information Systems:
1) Introduction to Information Systems
2) Data base management Systems
3) Internet based Information Systems & businesses
4) Ethical issues in managing Information Systems
5) Strategic Management Information Systems
6) Planning and implemention of Management Information Systems

Note: This course does not require any prior computer or IT knowledge/experience
