講義概要
/Course description
The primary focus of this course is placed on the preparation and practice of extemporaneous speeches and presentations. So, while the speaker may prepare the message in the form of an outline with very brief notes on index cards to prompt them during the speech, the exact wording is not determined until the time of delivery. Prepared—but not memorized—speeches allow for greater spontaneity and audience adaptation. Presenting memorized or scripted speeches will result in a failing grade for that speech.
