講義概要 ／Course description	This course focuses primarily on the preparation and practice of extemporaneous speeches. While the speaker prepares the message in the form of an outline, the exact wording is not determined until the time of delivery. Students are expected to give at least four speeches. Speech topics include Personal Narrative (ungraded), Definition, Process (Informative Speaking) and Persuasion (two speeches). Essential to each speech, with the exception of the personal narrative, is an outline which the students will submit at the end of each presentation.
