講義概要
／Course description |
This course aims at developing your ability to structure academic papers and at increasing your awareness of formal English usage, research methods and use of appropriate documentation. You will read texts drawn from literature, the social sciences and popular media and write about topics using rhetorical techniques that include explanation, description, logical analysis and argumentation. Peer responses will be an integral part of the course- students will be accountable for giving critical advice and for considering the feedback they receive in writing and revising their own papers. |
