Hypermedia presentations
講義概要
/Course description
Organizing and presenting a complex mass of information for others, particularly when you are not there to help with the explanation, is a valuable skill.

Producing hypermedia – presenting information in a way that allows the user to navigate through the data on his or her own – is a somewhat different art to that of making a presentation. In this class we will learn the basic skills of: dissecting and isolating information; using software to present this information; design skills, including typography and image editing skills; advanced animation techniques to bring hypermedia projects to life.

There are three individual projects to be completed during the term; and a final examination to test your knowledge of the techniques and skills acquired during the semester.

The first graded project will be an introduction of you and your home town. The second one will be a “story” based project. The third one is a “kiosk” type, similar to ones you may find in museums. The examination will test your understanding of the concepts which have been discussed during the class. You should also provide a paper detailing the processes you went through in creating the project with each project.
