講義概要 ／Course description	This is a skills course in the processes and functions of logical thinking and perception.  The course will focus on human perception and knowledge; how we perceive information and how we analyze or make sense of what we perceive; the critical analysis and interpretation of material; the clear presentation of ideas in speech and writing; and a discussion of a wide variety of academic subjects.  The course requires students to have or to develop intermediate to advanced writing, reading, and discussion skills , as well as understand complex and abstract concepts and ideas.  The interpretation of texts will be the main focus of the course.
