【学習内容】

This course intends to meet students’ particular English needs! It is designed to suit students’ interests and the busy lifestyles they lead these days. To do all this, enjoyable speaking activities in pair or group discussions focus on ways for students to develop and use their English speaking ability and interpersonal communication skills. High interest intermediate topics (e.g., business, culture, movies or music) are introduced to get students talking. Also, language is acquired most easily when there is a sense of playing with language so humor is also encouraged in the course. Classrooms are places to explore language and to learn to communicate so students can enjoy language and develop their social skill though positive interaction with others.

The learning method is student-centered with students having lots of chances to talk with other students about interesting topics.

The usual learning mode is either the introduction of an interesting topic and group discussion or interactive learning through a communicative game.

Students’ final level should show a heightened awareness of English as well as a higher ability to use it in a variety of different situations.

【学習内容】

A course for intermediate one students. We will spend much of the time in class doing pair/group work in order to practice specific grammar and discussion topics. The best way to learn English is to speak it as much as possible. The students will be doing plenty of speaking. Practice makes perfect!

As intermediate students can speak reasonably well, we try to stimulate free and easy use of the language.
