- 【学習内容】
- 毎回一つのテーマに沿って、語彙表現とフレーズを練習したのち、会話練習をします。
テーマは、（1）人を説明する、（2）日本文化・習慣（1）、（3）気持ちを伝える、（4）日本文化・習慣（2）、（5）計画・予定を伝える、（6）比較する、（7）頻度を伝える、とし、8回目の授業ではおさらいをします。
- 【学習方法】
- 授業はゆっくりと英語で進めますが、状況に応じて日本語で捕捉します。毎回の授業は次のながれとなります。
- （1）ウォームアップ：緊張をほぐす簡単な英語のアクティビティー
- （2）レビュー：前回のレッスンを簡単におさらい
- （3）今日のテーマ：上述の各テーマに関する単語・フレーズ、やさしい構文を聞いて言う練習をしたのち、色々な状況を想定して会話で使う練習をします。慣れるまで、ゆっくり練習する時間をとります。
- （4）クールダウン：最後に時間があれば、再び、緊張をほぐす簡単な英語のアクティビティーを行います。

- 【学習内容】
- This course aims to improve students’ business English to a near intermediate level. The course will focus on speaking and listening (70%) as well as basic reading and writing (30%). The goal of the course is to help students to use English for simple interactions with English speakers in a work situation. Examples are meeting people, giving basic information about your company, describing daily routines, making appointments, giving directions, comparing companies and jobs, etc.

- We will use a communicative approach. In other words, we will learn English by using it often in class. The teacher will use English as much as possible. Students will do various realistic activities including business situation role plays, short presentations, and general conversations. Students will also try to talk about their own experiences. On the reading and writing side, business culture around the world will be an important theme. Writing may include writing memos, e-mails, short reports, letters etc.

- Most of the lesson will be in English. Students will have many chances to communicate with the teacher in English. Also, students will talk to each other in English by working in pairs or groups. Students will have short homework assignments almost every week. Students can also practice listening by themselves with the textbook CD. The textbook is also supported by online activities.
