【学習内容】

This is a course for advanced students who are able to express themselves with relative ease in English. The format of the class will be discussion on subjects of interest, current affairs and so on. I will select some general ideas to begin with, but also ask the students to indicate what areas they would like to discuss in class. I will provide material on subjects to be covered, but source suggestions from the students will be an integral part of the course. The material will be taken from well known magazines and newspapers, but if any specialised topics of interest to the class come up during discussion we can include whatever proves to be of interest. As we will spend most of our class time actually talking about the content of the articles, it is essential that students read up on the material before each class.

Through selected texts and newspaper articles students can increase vocabulary and discuss and exchange ideas.
