【学習内容】: This course aims to improve students’ business English to a near intermediate level. The course will focus on speaking and listening (70%) as well as basic reading and writing (30%). The goal of the course is to help students to use English for interacting with English speakers in a work situation. Examples are meeting clients or customers, talking about your company, describing company problems, explaining how to solve a problem and so on. This course is a good choice for students who have completed Basic Business English.

【学習方法】: We will use a communicative approach. In other words, we will learn English by using it often in class. The teacher will use English as much as possible. Students will do various realistic activities including business situation role plays, short presentations, and general conversations. Students will also try to talk about their own experiences. Students will read about business culture and practices around the world. Writing assignments may include memos, e-mails, short reports, letters etc.

【学習形態】: Most of the lesson will be in English. Students will have many chances to communicate with the teacher in English. Also, students will talk to each other in English by working in pairs or groups. Students will have short homework assignments almost every week. Students can also practice listening by themselves with the textbook CD. The textbook is also supported by online activities.

【学習内容】: The purpose of this class is for students to move smoothly from a basic level to an intermediate level of English communication. We will be learning English for various everyday situations. In each situation, we will learn some new grammar points and strategies for better communication.

【学習方法】: The class will be about 75% speaking and 25% listening activities. I use a communicative method. The objective of communicative learning is to make your meaning clear in English. Interaction is important, especially with other students. Often students will work in pairs or groups. Sometimes students will do role plays and give reports. Students will also practice listening with the course CD. Outside the class, students will have weekly homework to do. This homework will usually be the grammar practice activities and easy reading from the textbook as well as listening activities with the student’s textbook CD. 【学習形態】: The learning mode is ‘learn English in English’. Most of the lesson will be in English. I ask students to imagine that they are living in an English-speaking country. Most people in that situation learn English by listening and guessing. The situation in class will be very similar. Students will learn realistic English by using it with me and other students.
