１．出願資格および留学資格
1) 留学する前年度までに32単位以上を取得していること。
留学期間中の修得単位数にも次の学則が適用されます。
学則第40条：連続する2か年において、学部学科が指定する授業科目を含む３２単位以上を修得できない者については、教授会の議を経て学長が退学を決定する。
2) 全科目のGPAが2.8以上あること。
3) 必要な外国語の要件を満たしていること。
英語圏出願者は、有効期限内（受験日から2年以内）のTOEFL iBTのスコアを提出すること。
4) 学科長の承諾があること。
5) 心身ともに健康であること。
6) 経済的保障及び保証人の承諾があること。

Eligibility and Requirements
1)　To have obtained 32 or more credits at Sophia by the time to start exchange
The following Sophia University Regulations should apply even during the period of the exchange program.
Article 40: A student who does not acquire 32 credits or more, including those for courses specified by the faculty or department, in two sequential years, shall be dismissed, on the decision made by the President after deliberation by the faculty meeting.
2)　GPA of 2.8 or above
3)　To have met sufficient language requirement to study abroad
Students applying for English speaking Institutions are required to submit a valid TOEFL iBT score.
4)　Approval from the chairperson of the department
5)　To be physically and mentally healthy to study abroad
6)　Financial support and approval from the guarantor

３．提出書類（以下７点について、オリジナルを各１部用意し、Ａ４サイズで３部コピーし、左上をホチキス止め）
※受付期間・時間内に完全な4セットを持参した場合のみ受け付けます。
　時間外および書類に不備・不足がある場合は一切受け付けません。代理・郵送不可。

①	交換留学願書	・手書き不可。＜ Form A and Form B ＞・日本語で記入のこと。・留学目的は、特定の大学を明記せず、「何を勉強したいか・何を目的に留学をするか」を中心に記入すること。＜ Form C ＞留学先大学で使用する言語で記入すること。
②	希望大学記入シート・英語圏・英語圏以外 ※「未定」となっている大学についても順次アップロードします	・語学要件を満たしている大学の中から、希望する大学全てに順位をつけること。（希望大学数の制限なし）。多くの大学に順位を付けることも可能だが、派遣が決定した場合の辞退は認めないので熟考の上選ぶこと。
③	語学能力証明書類	・英語圏出願者は、TOEFL iBTのスコア提出が必須。　本学ウェブサイトおよび希望大学記入シートの語学要件を参照すること。・語学要件を満たしている証明として、TOEFL ITPおよびIELTSを併用することは可能。（ただし、一部協定校でしか認められないので注意）・全ての証明書類は有効期限内のもののみ提出可能。・書類の原本の提出を求めることがあるので、各自で保管しておくこと。
④	保証人・学科長の承諾書	・学科長の面接を受け、承諾書の記入を依頼すること。・大学院生は専攻主任と指導教員の両方から承諾を得ること。
⑤	最新の成績通知書	2012年秋学期分までの全成績が記載されているものをA4サイズでLoyola（ロヨラ）から出力すること。（プリントアウト方法：「履修成績照会」→（過去を含めた全成績を選択）「ファイルに出力」→「ファイル出力開始」→印刷マークを押す）
⑥	英文成績証明書	・コピー３部は、オリジナルのコピー（「複写無効」の文字の出たもの）でよい。・大学院生は、学部の英文成績証明書も併せて提出のこと。
⑦	定期健康診断	・毎年4月に行われる内科検診を含む定期健康診断を必ず受診してあること。（診断の結果によっては留学不可になることもある。）

Documents to be submitted(Complete one original set of documents including 1 to 7, and make 3 photocopies of each in A4 size. Then place them in order and staple the left top corner of each set.)
Application documents accepted during the application periods only. The completed 4 applications submitted by the applicants are acceptable. Any incomplete applications, applications sent by mail, or late application will not be accepted.

1	Application forms	Hand-written applications not acceptable. ＜ Form A and Form B ＞ Must be completed in Japanese. When writing the essay on the purpose of studying abroad, do not write about one specific university, but focus on the field of study and the purpose of study abroad in general. ＜ Form C ＞ Complete the application form in the language used at the university where you wish to study.
2	Host institutions preferences sheet ・ English-Speaking Institutions ・ Others ※Will be updated accordingly	Give priority to the universities where you meet the language requirement and wish to go. List as many universities as you wish, however carefully consider, because cancellation/withdrawal from the exchange program after the nomination as a Sophia candidate is not acceptable.
3	Certificate providing language ability	・Students applying for English speaking institutions are required to submit the TOEFL iBT score. ・Refer to the language requirements indicated on Sophia website and the “Host Institutions Preferences Sheet.” ・Some universities do not accept TOEFL ITP and IELTS scores. ・Applicants must submit valid scores. ・Applicants must keep the original certificate providing language ability since some universities may require it.
4	Approval form from the guarantor and the department chair	・Make an appointment with the chairperson of the department and request approval for submitting the application. ・Graduate students must obtain approval from both the academic advisor and the graduate program chairperson (Senko Shunin).
5	Copy of latest academic records	Copy of the latest academic records covering up to the autumn semester 2012 must be printed out from Loyola in A4 size.
6	Official academic transcript in English	・One original and three copies must be submitted. (the word “invalid copy” appears on it. Photocopied document is acceptable) ・A graduate student must submit the undergraduate official transcript as well.
7	Medical check-up	An applicant must have completed the Sophia medical check-up in April. An applicant may not be nominated for an exchange program depending on the results of the check-up.

＜個人情報についての大学の取扱い方針＞
１）提出された出願書類に記載された個人情報は交換留学選考および手続以外の目的では使用しません。
２）学内選考において不合格になった者の出願書類は選考後、6ヶ月以内に国際連携室職員が責任を持って廃棄処分とします。
＜Policy on use of personal information for the exchange program＞
1) International Liaison Office will not use the personal information on the application forms for any purpose other than the internal selection and necessary procedures for the exchange program.
2) International Liaison Office will dispose of the application documents of the unsuccessful applicants within 6 months of the application selection.
