日本の国際教育の先駆者として、半世紀以上にわたり幅広い教養と論理的思考力を育むリベラル・アーツ教育を英語で提供してきました。１年次の基礎教育、２年次後半から３つ（国際経済・社会科学・比較文化）の専門分野から選択するプログラム。高い外国語能力、卓越した専門的知見、多文化対応発信能力を身に付け、国際機関や多国籍企業などで活躍できる「グローバル社会対応型」人材の育成を行っています。
A Liberal Arts Education that Cultivates Globally Competent Individuals
As a pioneer of international education in Japan for more than half a century, Faculty of Liberal Arts has been providing a liberal arts education that fosters wide-ranging knowledge and logical thinking skills in English. The program offers basic education for freshmen and three specialized fields (International Business and Economy, Social Studies and Comparative Culture) one of which is selected as a major from the latter half of the sophomore year. By developing advanced language skills, outstanding expertise and proficiency in intercultural communication, we educate “globally competent” individuals who can play active roles in international organizations, multinational enterprises, and other globally active organizations.
