募集対象・応募条件: Conditions	本学正規生で以下いずれかの英語能力証明書が提出できる者 Full time Degree full-time students who can submit one of the certificate of English proficiency indicated below. 　 TOEFL ： 79 or higher for iBT / 213 or higher for CBT / 550 or higher for PBT 　　　　　　550 or higher for ITP IELTS ： 6.5 or higher for overall score ※TOEICは不可　TOEIC score is not acceptable. 　・休学中の学生は参加不可 Student who is taking a leave of absence can not apply for this program.
UCLAでの履修単位数: Number of Units to be taken at UCLA	Session Cより最低8 units、最高10 units（1 unitあたりの授業時間数はコースにより異なる。履修科目は2コース程度）　 Minimum of 8units, maximum of 10 units　from the courses offered during Session C (The number of class hours required for receiving one unit differs depending on the course. The students will probably need to take 2 courses)
申込期間等: Application period and other important dates	申込受付：4月16日（火）～18日（木）国際連携室窓口にて application accepted at International Liaison Office (1st floor, Blidg. No2)from Tuesday, April 16 to Thursday, April 18. 　 4月22日（月）参加可否通知 (Loyolaに掲示する） Results of the participants selection announced on Loyola on Monday, April 22. 参加者は春学期中に実施される下記の事前指導に必ず出席すること。 The participants must attend the following pre-sessions at Sophia during the Spring semester; ①4月26日（金）参加者ガイダンス 17:00-19:00 @ L-921 Orientation Friday, April 26 17:00-18:30 ②6月14日（金）　危機管理ガイダンス 17:00-18:30 @ L-921 Orientation on Crisis-Management Friday, June 14 17:00-18:30 ③7月19日(金) 渡航前ガイダンス 17:00-19:00 @ L-921 Pre-departure Orientation Friday, July 19 17:00-19:00
申込み方法: How to apply	下記書類を申込期間内に提出 Submit the following application documents during the application period. 　１）参加申込書　Application Form ダウンロード　２）最新の成績通知表（Loyolaからプリントアウトしたもの）（プリントアウト方法：「履修成績照会」→（過去を含めた全成績を選択）「ファイルに出力」→「ファイル出力開始」→印刷マークを押す） ※春入学の1年次生は成績通知表は提出不要。　The most recent academic transcripts printed out from "Loyola" 　*A freshman entered this Spring semester does not need to submit a transcript. ３）英語能力証明書のコピー Photocopy of English proficiency test results
単位認定: Credit transfer	帰国後、単位換算の手続きをすることで学科科目もしくは全学共通科目（選択科目）として単位認定される。認定単位数は学生の履修するコースにより異なる。　語学のコースおよびIndividual　Studies（個人研究)は単位換算不可。単位換算に関するその他の条件については、「留学の手引」を参照のこと。　 Credits obtained can be counted towards the specialized education or general studies(GS electives) through the procedure of credit transfer. The number of credits given for a course differs depending on the total number of hours of the classes conducted at UCLA. Credits earned for taking modern language courses and individual studies are not transferable. See "Ryugakuno Tebiki" for more detailed conditions regarding credit transfer. 　単位認定は2013年秋学期分として行われる。The credits taken at UCLA will be transferred to Sophia as the courses taken in the Fall semester 2013. 本学国際連携室を通してプログラムに参加した者のみ単位換算の対象となる(個人で直接UCLAに申し込んだ場合は単位換算不可） Credits will be transferable only when a student participates in the program through International Liaison Office of Sophia. When a student directly applies to the UCLA and participate in the same program, credits will not be transferable.
単位認定の方法: How to transfer credits	１．申し込み時（4/16～18）までに UCLAサマーセッションホームページを見て各自履修計画を立てる。　Referring to the UCLA Summer Sessions website, students should make their study plans by the application period(April 16-18) ２．履修予定科目を学科科目/全学共通科目（選択科目）として認定できるかは事前に学科長と相談　Consult the　department chairperson in advance whether a course taken at UCLA can be transferred back as the specialized education or general studies(GS Electives). ３．帰国後、各自で単位換算手続きを学事センターで申請（書式は学事センターにて配布） Upon return, obtain a Credit Transfer sheet at Center for Academic Affairs and complete necessary paperwork ４．学科承認。単位認定(2013年秋学期分として成績表に反映される） Approval by the department. The credits will be transferred to Sophia as the courses taken in the Fall semester 2013)
	・申込書を提出してからのキャンセルは原則不可。 In principle, cancellations after submission of the application documents is not possible. ・本研修は全員が出発から帰国まで同一旅程で参加するものである。渡航期間の変更、宿舎の変更はできない。 The program will run at designated schedule and all participants will stay at the same accommodation designated by the university. ・本研修には教職員や添乗員の引率はない。 No faculty member will accompany with the participants. ・本プログラムへの参加にあたりビザ取得が必要である。5月6日までに有効なパスポートを所持しておくこと。 Applicants need to obtain a visa. Applicants must possess the valid passport by May 6. ・国際情勢や開講大学の事情等により講座の開講中止や開講期間の変更が生じる場合がある。 The program may be cancelled or changed due to unexpected changes in the international situation, etc.
