Sophia University to Confer the Degree of Honorary Doctorate upon His Royal Highness the Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg

Sophia University will confer the Degree of Honorary Doctorate upon the His Royal Highness the Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Yotsuya Campus.

Sophia University has been fostering close tie with Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. In 2010 the Degree of Honorary Doctorate was conferred to His Excellency Jean Claude Junker, former Prime Minister of Luxembourg and current President of the European Commission and in 2012 our first overseas office was established in Luxembourg. Also in 2013 we were honored by the visit of the Royal Highnesses Prince Felix and Princess Claire of Luxembourg to the ceremony of Sophia University 100th Anniversary. His Excellency Jean-Claude Hollerich, Archbishop of Luxembourg and the former Vice President of Sophia University will also attend the conferment ceremony.
