The theme of this year’s ASEACCU Annual Conference was “Caring for God’s Creation” focusing on environmental preservation and sustainable development issues.
Faculty members discussed the main theme through lectures from junior scholars, case-study presentation on environmental education by member institutions, panel sessions, and group discussion. Meanwhile, student participants were divided into 7 groups to discuss based on the question "How do we harmonize sustainable development and environmental preservation in the Asia-Pacific region?" during the Student Conference. Each group presented their perspectives to all the participants on August 27.
Both faculty members and students were engaged in the active discussion and made a great contribution to the ASEACCU Annual Conference.
