March 16
Dear FLA students:
Japan is facing a tragic moment, which may affect enormously all of us living in Japan. I would like to express my sincere condolences to a large number of people who lost their lives and those whose family members and friends were severely affected in this devastating East Japan earthquake.
As the Dean of FLA, I am very much concerned about the safety of our students. Although the Center for Student Affairs has started calling students whose hometown is located in the disaster-stricken area, we would like to double-check that all of the FLA students are safe.
Please send a very short e-mail message, containing the specified information indicated below, to the FLA Office's tentative address:
sophia.fla.2011@gmail.com
Needed Information:
(1) Your ID Number
(2) Full Name
(3) Current Location (ex. "at home in Tokyo," "on travel in the US," etc.)
(4) Present Circumstances (ex. I am fine or safe, etc.)
Thank you very much in advance for your kind cooperation and hope to hear from all of you as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Yoshitaka Okada
Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts
