
This is the follow-up information on university services and campus use after Thursday, March 17 in response to the effects of the planned-power outage in Tokyo areas caused by the large earthquakes on Friday, March 11.
Students should remain at home until Tuesday, March 22 to avoid any danger, and are advised not to come to the university campus from March 17-22 (tentative) unless you have an urgent matter. In case you need to come to campus under unavoidable circumstances (such as for the issuance of the certificates), you are required to stop by at the security booth at the Main Gate.(seimon) for entrance.
・ All club activities on campus will be suspended. Students are also requested to refrain from having the club activities off-campus.
・ University facilities such as library and computer labs will be closed
・ Cafeteria and bookshop will be closed.
For our current students, parents, and the newly entering students who have been affected by this earthquake, the following offices will be available for assistance from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.

*At this point, Sophia University plans to have the Graduation Ceremony on March 23 as scheduled. However, university may decide to change its plan depending on the situation. Please check the university website regularly for any updates.
