To the seniors and students graduating from graduate school:
As it was announced previously, due to the influence by the planned-power outrage caused by the earthquakes, students are kindly advised not to come to the campus on both Tuesday, March 15th and Wednesday, 16th. Please be informed of the following notices regarding the announcement of successful graduates of undergraduate and graduate school and also issuance of certificates. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in these matters in this state of emergency.
【Annoucement on Successful Graduates and Mailing of Notices】
On Tuesday, March 15, announcement of successful graduates of this March and students qualified for the teaching license and curator’s certification will be made on Loyola. There will be no posting on campus.
On or after March 15, invitation notice for the commencement will be sent out to the graduating students. In case of those who will stay at the university beyond the residence requirements or those who will be withdrawn or dismissed from the university, notices regarding their status will be sent to their guarantors. Please understand that these notices may be delayed or may not be even delivered to the affected areas or the alike.
【ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES TO THE GRADUATING STUDENTS】
It was scheduled to start the issuance of “Transcript of records and certificate of graduation” to the graduating students on Tuesday, March 15. However, due to the system stop under the influence of the earthquakes, the starting date of issuance will be postponed until Thursday, March 17 or after. The exact date will be notified on the university’s website.
Students who are asked to submit the certificate to the companies or schools they will enter after graduation are kindly advised to explain them the university’s present situation and ask for arrangement to delay submission.
