On Fri. March 11 at 2:46m, a strong earthquake hit the northern parts of Japan (Miyagi- Iwate area).

We have felt the large tremor at Sophia University as well, but there is no major damage to our campus, and no report of students, faculty, and staff injured on campus has been reported.
