
On June 12, Shinya Kozaki, a graduate student in Master’s Program in Mechanical Engineering along with his graduate advisors who had directed his research paper, Professor Haruhisa Sakamoto and Professor Shinji Shimizu in the Department of Engineering and Applied Science won the 33rd JSPE Technology Development Award and Encouragement Award.
Mr. Kozaki commented, "Obviously, an honor such as the JSPE award couldn’t have been won without the help from Professor Sakamoto and Professor Shimizu who made their professional advice available for me everyday of the year. My warm thanks also go to the people of Tech-no Center for their kind support. I would like to continue my efforts to contribute to the development of the Precision Engineering Laboratory."
