Ms. Yuko Kojima, a 2007 graduate of Sophia University Graduate Program in Philosophy, has been recognized by the Hegel Society of Japan for her outstanding academic achievements in the study of Hegel. This year, the Society honored Ms. Kojima with the Fifth Research Encouragement Award in recognition of her publication.
In 2011, her dissertation was published as a book entitled “Hegel: Tiefe des Geistes "EntauBerung" and "Erinnerung" in der Phanomenologie des Geites” by Chisen Shokan.
The Award was established with a goal to promote academic research on any topic that relates to the works on Hegel, and to help nurture highly qualified researchers in this field of study.
