Professor Takeshi Hattori was honored with the 62nd Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications "Radio Wave Day" award for his long standing contributions to the development of information communications.
Not only did he help establish technical conditions concerning cellular wireless communication systems but he has also made fair and accurate decisions when dealing with the issue of wireless radio use in Japan. As a member of Information and Communications Council, Dr. Hattori has given professional advice to the project to develop radio wave administration work and system.
On June 1, the 2012 Radio Wave Day and Info-Communications Promotion Month Central Commemoration Ceremony took place at the Imperial Hotel to present the awards and testimonials.
